Our Works
Overview
Four blocks of flats on the former University of Hertfordshire site which have been empty since 2015. The refurbishment project sees a dilapidated development brought back to good use creating improved temporary accommodations for homeless people.
The properties have been designed to include an energy efficient and environmentally friendly installation. Each building contains one, two and three bedroom apartments which benefit from renewable energy generation thanks to onsite solar panels and air
source heat pumps.
Externally, electric vehicle charging points have been installed in the car park to encourage residents to utilise green transport options.
This project is an example of how existing buildings can be improved and transformed into useable spaces rather than demolishing and re-building.
A first class redevelopment project!
